This is your American Abilities News Update for Saturday, October tenth. Hearing loss, disabilities and wellness. Three stories to know right now. In hearing health, a national survey of more than six thousand adults in China linked body weight and blood pressure to hearing loss. Two everyday health numbers that may help protect your ears. In Texas, a federal judge ruled Klein schools must let Disability Rights Texas monitor conditions for students with disabilities. Including private conversations with students. And in wellness, a two-year trial of 700 older adults found hearing aids helped more of them return to normal memory and thinking scores. The effect on dementia was not yet clear. Tomorrow at 10 AM on The CW Rochester: American Abilities Columbus Day, Show 793. Sources at AmericanAbilitiesTV.com/news.
